A Ghostbed mattress needs up to 48 hours to completely expand. Once you open the mattress it will expand to close to 80% and can be used at this point. It will expand 100% in 48 hours from unboxing.

Can you use any mattress on an adjustable base?

While pocketed coil mattresses work on adjustable bed bases all foam mattresses perform better.
